Dr Rachelle Y. Benson

Dr. Rachelle Y. Benson is the First Lady of Total Deliverance Worship Center located in Spring Valley, CA. She is an Ordained National Evangelist within the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. Dr. Benson is a caring woman of God who travels throughout the Nation speaking, teaching, and preaching the Gospel. She is also the founder of “Women of Valor”, a women’s ministry established in 2004 to support women through counseling, education, and empowerment. Dr. Benson is married to the love of her life; Diocesan Bishop, Dr. William A. Benson, and they are the parents of two beautiful girls and one son.

Dr. Rachelle Y. Benson is also the Executive Director of a non-profit organization called Stepping Higher, Inc. Under the leadership of her husband and CEO, this organization was developed with the understanding that with the proper faith-based support and resources, an individuals’ life can change. Stepping Higher, Inc. serves as a beacon within the community of San Diego by offering a variety of services, such as: professional marriage and family counseling, emergency housing, drug and alcohol counseling, children’s and women’s home, Supreme Court ordered classes, youth deferment program, wellness and fitness classes, HIV/AIDS awareness program, prison re-entry program, nutritional education, and a food distribution program that feeds thousands of individuals each month.

Dr. Rachelle Benson is a dedicated professional with over 27 years of experience within the Human Services field. She is experienced in overseeing, directing, managing, and supervising diverse populations and economically challenged individuals. Dr. Rachelle Benson holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling, a second Ph.D. in Theology, a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management, and a Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science. She is also the author of a book entitled “Spiritually Desperate Housewives”.

Dr. Benson currently sits on the Board of Directors with the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation. This Foundation is dedicated to preparing youth for the future through scholarships and internship opportunities.

Elect Lady Dr. Rachelle Benson is honored to be the President over the Southern California District Council Minister’s and Deacon’s Wives Auxiliary of the PAW, Inc.

Dr. Benson sits as the Vice President/Provost of the American College & Theological Seminary International University (ACTS-IU). Dr. Benson also operates as the Dean of the Christian Counseling and Christian Psychology department.

Dr. Rachelle Benson’s main goal in life is to please God and to inspire others to live for Christ. One of her favorite Scriptures: 

Psalms 37:5 “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
